Ice everywhere in my area of Nashville. It's coming down as rain but refreezing before it can penetrate to the asphalt. So you step out onto what looks like a pool of water and there's ice underneath it. I'm on a neighborhood road. I'm sure the most traveled arteries are in better shape. When I step outside I can hear limbs cracking and falling all over the neighborhood. Houses on other side of my street have lost power.
Ice accumulation on trees is appreciable, and the wind is a concern. None of my trees are a threat to the power lines, though my neighbors in my sub grid have some that could be an issue. We’ll see.
