The Official ZONE MLB Thread, brought to you by the NERD

But the AA team used to be here in the noog for well over 20 years. I grew up watching a lot of these guys and even worked for the club for several years.

No team in Memphis and hated Cubs & Cards growing up. Got interested in Eric Davis after the 20/80 year. Then Barry Larkin sealed the deal.

I agree, but that was like aught 0 or 1. Place has really built up downtown. Lots of youth and harmony now. And meth.

I dunno, I may have put it up to an unfair standard, but that city was amazing back in the 1990's. I remember how my sister and I bawled our eyes out when we were told that we had to move to TN.

All good reasons. I have always liked the Braves, but went to a lot if Nashville Sounds games (when they were the Reds AAA) and have always followed them.

I like to drive around when I go up there. I really like some of the older homes and cool neighborhoods. I like it up by the krohn conservatory. Some areas are rough, but it reminds me of some of the cool old neighborhoods here in chattanooga.

I think you'd like it now. Lots to do and a great mix of people. Plus, UC is getting more involved with the city so there's always college girls running around.

Yeah, I live somewhat near there. Our house is 103 years old. The hoods are cool. I haven't been mugged yet, but the wife and I got a ride back from a horrible part if town by a stranger at a gas station after an ill fated bus ride at midnight. So it's not that bad.

Every city should have a findlay market also. I make it a point to go there every time I am close.

Findlay market is awesome. We take our daughter there a lot to pick out dinner. Just as cheap as the large scale grocery stores, but better quality and keeps the money local.
