This game was not on the refs. Get over it. We lost. We made serious mistakes in the first half but still came back. If anything we just ran out of time.

We kinda screwed ourselves. Lazy defense in first half and missed nearly half of our FTs. Hell of a finish to the season. Will miss McRae and stokes.

I don't think losing McRae is the end of the world given how Richardson has progressed. I just really hope Stokes comes back (and I still think he should, as well).

I am really frustrated with the refs drawing up that play that gave the power forward the ball in the corner 18 feet from the rim, they screwed us

No way the refs are going tp let a crappy Tn team beat Michigan the Big Ten champ It's all corrupt. Officiating is a joke.

There were a few ways we could have won that game without coming down to the call on Stokes(which was the right call, he lowered his shoulder).

On a guy that just did plant himself. Not long enough imo. Horrible call. Ref was looking for a reason to call anything.

Funny how everybody likes the "refs screwed us" posts but the bottom line is UT's fast break and back door D sucked.

There was a series in the 1st half where UT was on a fast break and missed the lay-up and UM SOMEHOW had a fast break on the other end that resulted in a dunk. That's as inexcusable as the charge on Stokes.

Stokes shoulder never touched the guy on that charge call. On the replay his shoulder was between both defenders. Refs were not going to let Tennessee win as usual.

How many of you would have taken the VOLS finishing the season like this 5 weeks ago. The 2 half tonight showed playing with guts and fire and excellent coaching.

Absolutely! That, along with giving up 33 points from beyond the arc is a recipe for disaster.

So explain the anti-Martin crowd after the loss to UF in the SEC tourney. UT had them on the ropes but let them off. That was a great effort! Biut somehow beating UMass and Mercer trumps that.

There is a difference between being low and lowering your shoulder. His contact shoulder was NOT dipped. He didn't lower his shoulder into the defender.

The argument, for me at least, isn't could we have done other things to not be in that position. That's obvious. A couple more free throws, them not being ridiculous from three, better rotation here or there keeps us out of that situation.

The argument is that a referee shouldn't make a game deciding call with 7 seconds left. You let the players decide the game. Let them get a shot off.

BALL DON'T LIE.

Granted the refs screwed us a few times but we still had our chance to win and didnt make the play. **** happens. Lets learn from it and move on.

Close one , bad call at the end ,they played a heck of a tourney. Should be something to build on as far as recruits.

The 4th foul on Maymon really hurt. The guy just lost it out of bounds. Michigan got a 3. Let the players decide the game at the end unless it is obvious.

I thought the charge call was 50-50. Usually in that part of the game they are play on situations. But there was nothing technically wrong with making that call.

The calls (or no calls in this case) that I had a problem with was when Stokes got mauled on the block every time he got the ball.

Terrible decision by Stokes on the charge play. Double teams on him and Maymon underneath the basket and Stauskas just hanging around the freethrow line. Three Vols spaced along the three point line wide open with plenty of time on the clock.
