This circus is killing me! Hell, we have hired 4 coaches so far but not one is in Knoxville and probably will never be. Hammy is like a stealth bomber and radar just can't get a lock on him. The man should have been a spy. I have read so many threads that they have all run together now and so much traffic on here has made the site slower than granny in her Buick. Thinking about going to a shrink and laying on his couch for my first session! Thought I would come here as a last ditch effort and hear from others feeling the same way. Group session might save my life!!!!!!!!:)

I have slept about 1 or 2 hours a night since all this happened. I'm just ready for all this to be over with so I can get some sleep lol.

It has been 1 hour since I checked the sight (hands trembling while drinking coffee). I feel like every time I check that I am going to see who the new coach is. But each time all I see are “confirmed rumors”…whatever that is. Then I just feel dirty and ashamed. My life is passing me by as I sit here at work or at home repeatedly hitting the F5 key. But I have to go there. I don’t have any “sources”. They all do…all of them. I have thought about pulling the network cable from the computer, but I need it to get my work done, you know. So its always there… Just click on the big E and start typing V…O…L….. At this point I know I have a problem, and I know it isn’t going away until the “ink is truly dry”, or until “it” is actually “booked”. So I am taking it one minute at a time. (hands tremble as I start to look at my blackberry then jerk it away.) It's just…. I got to know who it’s going to be….I got to know that that we will be back…. I got to know that it is going to be OK.... I just… I just got to know….(tears fill eyes as I can barely speak. Quietly whisper)… V, …… B. (I sit down).

Hopefully there is a certified shrink here as a member that will chime in. WE NEED HELP! LOL

lol..... its about time sombody started this thread....jask daniels has never tasted so good like it has since all this started, maybe i can put the bottle down, and talk to some people that are going to help me...lol thanks

I agree 100 % !! I've been a Vols fan for longer than many of you have been alive but am a n00b at VolNation and didn't join until right before I was heading off to Atlanta for the debacle in the Ga. Dome.

I came here for some good info once I heard Lame Kitty with the hot wife was screwing up our recruiting season and heading off to L.A.

Boy after spending a couple of days here and reading alot of this crap I've considered staying away...just "ain't" good for a man's brain. :crazy:

Hi,
I'm utmba93 and I've been a dysfunctional human for the past week or so.

Thank God somebody finally started a sensible thread. This place is impossible to follow.

I'm tired of coaching searches. I'm tired of secret meetings with mystery candidates. I want a more transparent approach. I'm tired of trying to find some unknown coach who will show up and save the day.

To anyone who can change this current state in Vols football, please get this over with soon so we can get back to normal life.

I agree...it's been quite the emotional rollercoaster since early Tuesday evening...Been bombarded with info as I am in the sports media relm, we are all trying to figure this thing out, although I don't work/live in Knoxville anymore, I still get just as much and want to know just as much as the rest of you. (Not to mention being in DC, I have to deal with the Gilbert Arenas situation on top of everthing else! Haha!) Soon as I know (and I mean CONFIRMED, not rumored stuff) Ill be sure to pass it along. Longtime lurker, need to be more of a frequent poster :) Go Vols. Lets hope we make the right decision this time

Hello, my name is chuck.
It all started by checking it every other day or so.Then the lair came and I started using everyday and most days several times a day.So that brings us till now where I've been on here most of my time for the last three or four days can't remember now.............

I actually wrote that as a joke e-mail to a few friends that (like me) are obssessing over this sight waiting for the announcement. It actually helpped me stay away for about 2 hours.

Then I broke down and checked the site again. Saw this thread and thought it would be appreciated.:)
