i am from red bank. moved back here from leadville, CO a little over a year ago. i am a mountain guide by trade and still run a few trips a year in various areas around the country. trying to lock down a real job, but sure enough no one is hiring.

Self employed myself, general contractor, not alot of work right now so i've been building scoreboards. Jumbotrons,pays the bills i guess.

i hear you there. i have been doing tree work and the guy who i was climbing trees with suffered some tendon tears in one of his arms and now i am really hurting for work. good thing is that i believe i made the cut to work this upcoming outage at tva. its a month of pure hell but the money will be very good.

from my understanding it will probably last 28 days of 12 hour shifts 6 days a week.

Too young to go to BR in it's heyday, or is it haydey, or hayday? Anyway, I used to shop at Loveman's and Miller's when I worked downtown (late 80's), right out of high school and only had myself to spend money on, lol. Good times.
