Had a good workout

Then went to Ingles to get stuff for meatloaf!

Gonna make it tomorrow after church

With homemade mashed potatoes

And green beans

Got my shaving done

Still need to study some more

I like to stay ahead

Been doing a study on being a spiritual warrior

Like being tough spiritually

 

[joevol33]

Not letting things bring you down

 

[joevol33]

Using the story of David facing Goliath as the example

When he told the king he'd fight

 

[joevol33]

But the king told him "you're not able"

 

[joevol33]

Cause sometimes we want to keep fighting whatever we're dealing with

 

[joevol33]

But are convinced by circumstances or even people that we can't

 

[joevol33]

I'm really liking this week's lesson

"you are your biggest enemy"

 

[joevol33]

David's brothers mocked him when he showed up

 

[joevol33]

Bringing food because he was so young and small he wasn't even considered for battle

 

[joevol33]

This after his father didn't even think enough of him to call for him when Samuel asked his dad to see his sons

Plus it's a big guy standing out there daring anybody to fight

 

[joevol33]

And top it off with the king King pretty much laughing at him

 

[joevol33]

He was strong enough to not allow how others, nor the circumstances, to stop him
