There was a wreck this morning involving 4 teenagers on their way to school. A woman was drunk at 7.30 and hit them head on. Killed one, and hurt the other 3. My daughter said the whole school was upset.

So sad. I always feel conflicted for the drunk driver too. Not in the way that they need to be free from responsibility because they need to be committed for vehicular homicide, but most people who are drunk think they are "okay" to drive. Now they have to live with that fatal mistake that they thought would have never happened.

I've heard several people say they could drive better drunk than sober. They really feel that way, until something like this.
