I can't either. I'm not sure what Kevin's parents deal is since they are retired like mine, but my guess is they just won't travel alone out of fear/worry. My parents even have friends who won't travel for that reason. My thought, along with my parents, is if something happens, something does, but we were seeing the world! Something can happen anywhere though, during travel or at my high rise work place.

My parents are trying to get all the longer/further trips out of the way first, and will travel the states later. They see this as doing this while they still can! They are doing a cruise before we meet them in London, and then doing a road trip there after we leave them for Dublin. Gone for months at a time! 😀

Both of my parents are adventurous, dad more so. We started at an early age, going all over the place. They have slowed down some. Thank goodness it has rubbed off to my son.

Yep, Silky’s was there. Yosemite Sam’s was a fun place to go to see if you could make it out unscathed. St. Patty’s day pub crawl back then was awesome, nearly impossible to get arrested.

Go to Clearwater with them! I did with my in-laws, interesti trip.
