On my monthly trips from Ashevegas to Mempho, I generally hit Nashville around 12:30 Central westbound and 11 Central eastbound. Unless TDOT is blowing something up, there's rarely a problem. Usually I go I-40 through downtown (left, right, left, right, left, right

), although I've started using 4(?)40 recently. <- it used to be awful, one of those 50-year-old urban canyons, but it's pretty respectable now. I have more trouble getting through Knoxville nowadays.

The trick is hitting Tacqueria del Sol when they haven't shut down between lunch and dinner.

I'm just getting back home. My eldest daughter came down there, and we ran her back home to Brentwood when they were done. They're doing surgery on the 15th, which is next Friday. It's definitely a tumor, but they won't know if it's cancerous or not until they take it out and send it for a biopsy. It's in the area that controls speech, which is what I've been struggling with.
