I told her, but she said she just took Motrin and wants to see if it helps bring it down.
Joe, you have to take her to the ER. 103 is way too high for some Mickey-Mouse thing. That’s a possible sign of a serious systemic infection, and if so, she should be getting treatment immediately.

And if it’s “just flu”, that’s a big deal too.

Go while the roads are clear.

Sorry to be a worry wart, but this is scary.

I have to agree with her. If the infection goes into systemic sepsis it will be life threatening. That’s what almost killed me.

Looked at me
Our elderly cat still prefers to do her business outside. (As the tenders of the litter box, we prefer that too.)

When we open the back door on a rainy/ snowy/ sleety/ crappy day, she stops dead in the doorway and goes into reverse. She then goes to the front door. We open that, and OMG! It’s rainy/ snowy/ sleety/ crappy out that door too!!! How can this be??

We love her to distraction, but geeze.

Yep, just came on to ask you guys to pray for her. I've got the kids in the car for now. She said to wait and see cause if it is the flu she doesn't want them in there. If it's infection they'll likely ship her to Atlanta
