Still gotta give the D some love. Played pretty good, but will need some help in the next recruiting class. They are showing some progress. Could use a lot of help from the offense.

This...the best players on defense are young...other than taylor, they are freshmen...Thompson and alontae will be all sec caliber players...i dont know how good our offense will ever be, but coach Pruitt can flat coach defense....dont forget, 7 of those points were scored on our offense today.

Our defense has been on the field way to long in the first parts of the game to where they are gassed in the late moments. It’s amazing that people are willing to say that the defense should be able to play lights out all 60 minutes regardless of TOP for the offense. Idiotic take.

I'd like to have this discussion after the game. I dont agree. I think he held back 1st half to keep us close and give us a chance in the 2nd half. Maybe it was a mistake, but if we try to open it up maybe we get blown away. He chose to play conservative 1st half with a chance to win 2nd half as the best way to win. I would say our inability to stop the run lost us this football game, but I think we are all feeling better than last week
