The Official Tennesssee @ #2 Georgia Game Thread, 3:30 PM ET, CBS

He's a worse cheap version of 0-4 Chip Kelly at UCLA. Just no, Leach would be getting us beat at UGA at the half by 50 airing the ball so much.

Right, all mike leach has done is put up points and taken junk schools to winning seasons. Pretty sure we fit that mold right now. Let me guess you love phil too

Not impressed withJeremy Pruitt. Talent level is down somwewhat, but not to the extent of the poor play. Cannot even line up properly ( 3 times 5 men in the backfield ), cannot make 1 yard on 3rd down, cannot teach kids to turn around and find the punt to down it inside the 10,cannot stop stupid mistakes like offside on crucial 3rd down ,etc. etc. All the result of poor fundamentals. Coaching to blame.

yeah JG took that knee like a seasoned pro!!

Cause that's what he was told to do. Just like all the lethargic play calls he's asked to execute. The offense is off because the play calling OC hasn't made any adjustments or even test the Georgia secondary.

It is the PLAYCALLING. The qb can't throw more than 5 yards if those are the only routes that are called.
I understand your frustration, but JG missed Tyler Byrd wide open for a first down on that 3yd incomplete to the TE. Then he missed Josh Palmer (uncovered) across the middle for a sure TD on another third down over thrown short pass to Wood-Anderson on the sideline.

Vol fans, we are brothers. But some of you really need to stop and think about what you are saying. Most of you predicted that Tennessee would lose by 40 points. Here it is halftime and we are down 17. As bad as we have played in 2 phases of the game, I can see where you are not happy. But for crying out loud, we are down 17. Try to be at least a little objective about what you are seeing. It may go into the crapper in the second half, but at least right now it's not the beat down you all expected. GBO
Thanks Dad!!

I think what he was saying was it wouldn't hurt to try anything. I have seen enough of JG this year, if we are gonna suck put in Shrout or let Chryst take a game to see if he has better decision making or the "it" factor. Please don't give me that O line excuse. I have seen great QB's play with suspect o lines.
I agree. I want KC starting. I wanted him starting going into UF game.

I mean...Leach is 3-1 at WSU, a historically worse school than UCLA, so it seems like he's doing better than Chip Kelly is in the PAC...It sounds to me like he's a better version of Chip and also cheaper? I dunno. I kinda think Chip will do better next year since UCLA is super garbage.

Also, it's not like we're getting a huge time of possession with Helton either...

The D is playing ok. Not good though overall. They’ve definitely missed some tackles and been very lucky on a few plays like the dropped screen to the RB, the WR that came down out of bounds, the overthrown deep balls, and the missed wide open TE for a TD.
Yeah, they are okay...dline has been solid against the pass, but bad against the run. Unfortunately you need it.to be the other.way.around against uga. Their rb will. Will eat anyone up

I was just thinking that. I like Pruitt but this staff he has assembled is abysmal especially offensively. We have some talent and Kiffin would at least be able to utilize what we have and score some points.
Kiffin, Leach, Freeze, or even Miles would have been a better hire.

The score should be worse. GA has missed on 2 or 3 plays that could have been TDs. The D has played ok, but still terrible. They are slow and passive. They still don't know assignments.

The O is worse...much worse.

Our punter is pretty good, so we have that going for us.

I don’t think JG nor Helton have confidence in our O-Line to throw the deep ball.
That is true but this also makes me really miss Dobbs.... Guarantano is so stiff in the pocket, he never makes anybody miss. The first rusher in always gets him to the ground. He never breaks a tackle, never feels the pressure and steps up away from it or sidesteps anyone. He is a statue.
