Guys, if we play clean on defense we will win tomorrow comfortably. Baseball gods were with Wake tonight. But that’s a big IF.

You could say that if they hit a couple crazy bloopers and what not but all they had to do was walk to the plate and stand there.

Same when I was playing. I might have started a game 1 and by game 3, they were throwing me in relief as needed (granted, I wasn’t near the talent of these guys). Was normal then, but it’s changed (at least for the best arms).

I get not sacrificing a kids future, but the competitive and orange part of me says damn the torpedos, full speed ahead.

Basically same for me. I’m left handed and threw hard. They would’ve pitched me every day if they could lol. But I was Ricky Vaughn with control and no one could ever fix it, so I don’t think I had much of a future past HS either so I don’t blame them.

That said, I know it’s different being a rabid Tennessee fan, but I’d want to throw every day if I was on that team.

For context I kept trashing our football team last all year and they mostly kept winning. So yes I’m trying the same thing for baseball. Relax peeps.

I don’t actually think the players are bums. Holy cow. But yes I don’t have high hopes for this team to make it to Omaha as it stands today. Nothing would make me happier if they prove me wrong though. New day tomorrow. Just win.

Basically same for me. I’m left handed and threw hard. They would’ve pitched me every day if they could lol. But I was Ricky Vaughn with control and no one could ever fix it, so I don’t think I had much of a future past HS either so I don’t blame them.

That said, I know it’s different being a rabid Tennessee fan, but I’d want to throw every day if I was on that team.

Right hander here with the same issue. I threw really hard but had issues with control. Never could tame that beast but when I could, it was a thing of beauty.Had some offers for NAIA and D3 schools, fun to think about what might have been had I landed somewhere that had been able to fix that, but I made the right choice by forgoing that and heading to UT.
