It happens. I know our kicker last year, Hunnicutt, was about as steady as they came but he cost us KState game and just never recovered for the rest of the year. I think we have a good one in Siebert, the FR.

Seems either like your kicker has been told to place his kicks short, in field of play or is inconsistent on putting it in for a touchback. Could very well be what you said, Sophomore slump.
