The Official Tennessee vs Vanderbilt Game Thread, 7:00pm ET, ESPN2

No offense but the "they don't quit" doesn't work tonight. We were up 13 and had Vandy on the ropes at HOME and we went dead.

You can give Reese a big assist on blowing this lead. During that 6 min collapse, he killed at least 4 possessions with turnovers, missed easy shots, charging fouls, etc.

Speaking of CBJ, how did we do against vendee in his first year? Did CJ give any recruiting advice to CT after he was hired? Middle Tennessee is loaded with topnotch hs fb prospects. Outside of Memphis, where are all of the topnotch hs bb players in Tennessee?

Say what you want but the dude talked and then backed it up

I totally agree with your statement but if he stuck his jazz hands in my face I would punch him . Pretty simple . He balled out . There was no reason to act like a tool . The scoreboard said it all .

True but Austin Peay is an emotionless loss......I hate Vandy

Well we suck so get used to it. We won't be any better next year. Hopefully you enjoy UT football more than basketball because a miracle would have to occur to lose to them in football next year.

Bunch of knee jerk reactions in here. Was it a "bad" loss? Yes. However, the guy's not even through his first season here yet. Lets get a couple seasons under our belt before we start the "Bring back Cuonzo" chants.

His current class ain't lookin too hot either.

For the first time under Tyndall, I'm nervous about the future of the program from a non NCAA violation POV. This team is getting worse and SEC coaches are picking apart the zone.

Nothing has really changed. There are no bigs and we've got to overplay in that zone to cover it up. Throw in a lack of shooters and no post threat on the offensive end and you've got a recipe for crappy basketball.

Very tough loss. Vandy was absolutely on fire in 2nd half. I never enjoy losing, especially to Vandy, but with a lack of a true post on this team we will continue to see games like this. When they went on a run we had no one that could get us an easy basket to stop their momentum. The rest of this year and possibly next may be tough but I will continue to support this team. Glutton for punishment I guess :) sorry for the long first post! As always Go Vols!

i'd give the assist to 13 3s.

We have the biggest bunch of fairweather fans in the country.

Serously? We have watched a team that lead by 11 at halftime and gets outscored 53-35 in the second half and let's a team that starts 3 freshman shoot 16 of 19 from the field plus, a team that consistently plays flat at home. You call us fair weather fans?

If CDT had a top 10 recruiting class then people wouldn't be as negative as they are.

SEC coaches have had film on the zone and Tyndall had made zero adjustments. He's limited but this team is getting worse. I understand you give up a little on the outside but we are giving too much. Three is worth more than two.

The coach is responsible, wins and losses it ultimately falls on him, surely you're joking

No it doesn't, is the coach playing? In a close game situation I'll give you that or if somebody goes off and you don't cover him by extending the zone ok,but when you have a hand in your face and you still knock down the shot no way is that Tyndalls fault.
