The Official Tennessee vs. Tennessee Tech Game Thread, 4:00 pm ET, SEC Network Alt.

The difference between Dobbs and Dormady is Dormady can throw through defenders. Dobbs has to try to plop it over top of them and hope his receivers fight for it. Dormady also had all kinds of extra time.

You've lost your mind or did not watch the game.

Neither. I saw QD make good strong throws. Saw Ainge tweet that QD was "throwing some ropes out there", and I agree.

I know what kind of passer Dobbs is after watching him for 4 years now....not good.

They both threw it well today against awful competition, and it's just not true nor is it accurate to say Dobbs was much better today and it wasn't close. You either didn't watch or you have an agenda....I suspect it's the latter.

Just heard him being interviewed on the radio by Tim Priest. Tim said he burned his redshirt today and Marquez said, "yes sir". Otherwise, I wouldn't have known.

But like you said, perhaps it's not a bad thing if he can return some more punts the last 3 games like he did today.

Josh Smith was Jacob Carter redux. Even Devrin Young was more dynamic. :pinch:

I saw Dobbs throw 3 consecutive bubble screens to the left side. That's 3 of his perfect completions right there. The Dormady pass to Byrd on the post route was spot on. Hit him in stride perfectly.

Did you see the 3TDs thrown by Dobbs (2 bombs to Malone and the perfect throw where only Jennings could catch it.) what about the rushed under throws by Dormady??? No reason to feel rushed against that defense. Not to mention the bubble screens thrown by Dormady as well. You may not like it (similar to Hurd) but the bubble screens are part of Butch's offense.

Dormady will be good, but he's not ready yet. Dobbs was head and shoulders ahead of Dormady tonight when you consider the competition.

Not sure if he had or not, but this was know knee jerk reaction. Butch had talked for the last 2 to 3 weeks saying he would probably get some playing time soon.

The question is, why wait until week 10, vs by far the worst competition of the season to get him in and burn a year of his eligibility?

Because we need to develop the future. Got to get these guys actually playing a college football game so when they go in, it's not he first time being in that situation

On 104.5, Butch spoke as if he wasn't ready earlier in the year but was getting close in practices as of recent to earning playing time. He also said having so many injuries was creating opportunities. He didn't mention PW, but you got the feel that had something to do with it as well.

Wasabi.

You okay?

you are TOO Funny. sorry,, this computer is messed up. i ho0ppe you ar good. **** **** **** **** when are you goonna send me some jerk seasooning? was it rlschreiber that i awas supposed to ged it from?

He would not have hot that whole. Not being funny but he is to big and not as quick

I believe you on that for sure. Thanks. I was listening to the game and was also not trying to be funn. Just curious. Kelly is a great fit for the system and the team OL loves blocking for him.

Any reply of the game up yet on Youtube? I was too busy Saturday doing a 2 day Disney world death march to watch any more than the last 1:36.

I'm sitting here with a Kentucky fan who is saying they'll beat bama in Atlanta 😜
Thus the same repetitive problem....beat UGA in Lexington first. Another reason SEC west is better than the east. Their fans know how tough the conference is.

I agree. However, the head coach of Tennessee should be above that type of behavior.
The head coach at TENNESSEE should be a lot of things.....since salary isn't an issue, how about DB's being taught to position themselves properly in man coverage, how about the OLine giving QB time to plant his feet, how about some plays that take into account that defensive front knows your predictable nature of ignorantly running into a loaded box and make some permanent changes?

Was Warrior playing corner? If not, I don't get the Buchanan point.
Warrior will never play corner. He's already taken the strong safety position....no if ands or buts. Sacrificed Byrd to the offense...so like many teams, good corners are hard to come by and the best get burnt..ask JJ.:good!:
