Seems like the Arky game was the one they'd focus on. Rested and healthy. Better shot at the hogs that tigers. Win today and the LSU game doesn't mean much.

It's going to come down to the LSU game at the end of the year when LSU is beat up and they know it.

It really isnt about finding fault at all. But it is about the people in this thread and on this board posting about how Lyle is "growing" and how he "opened" up the playbook and how great Kelly is and how much of a malcontent Hurd was and how they are "throwing" it around the yard. Total garbage.

The fact is that the Vegas odds makers had the line at between to 42 and 45 points so it was going to be a beat down.

TTU is an OVC non FBS team who has less than 5 guys who could even fill a roster spot for the Vols. So I'm glad the Vols will cover but this game should not even be on the schedule.

Tennessee should never schedule a non FBS opponent. Color me unimpressed - this game proves nothing about Lyle or this team - it only proves that the Vols beat a non FBS OVC team.

It does prove that the Vols have great fans as the "fans" came out in droves. Best fan base in country with one of the worst returns on invest in the country.

Right back where most of us were a couple weeks ago: we need the LSU team to win that game. We all circled it. Still circled. Of course we should Fahr Butch.
