LET'S MOVE ON....we have a very good football team, take away a fluke fumble (on an illegal hit I might add...leading with his helmet) and a punt return for a TD.....we would have been right there!!

Southern Miss is going to try to run the ball down UT's throeat. I'm not so sure they won't be able to do it.

I think Ainge and the offense might be able to put up 40 and eek out a win though.

It really doesnt matter about last night......we got a game in 6 days.....Our defense will make adjustments and do fine.....have you ever thought that quite possibly we could have just been outplayed?? Ainge done great, I dont understand screen passes on 3rd and 15, but he was solid.....our defense was good until 8:06 left to go in the fourth quarter......our offense can score on anybody....we just got beat!! If you didn't see the potential we have out on that field ur just mad and being a hater cuz we lost. I bet you we never face another team with so much speed at the skill positions the rest of the year.......PERIOD!! GO VOLS

i think damion fletcher is a better back than forsett. That said, we're screwed...period. The way i see it the only thing that may save us is lamarcus coker

you cannot score on every posession... coker adds value to the offense..no doubt abt that... but i dont think we missed him too much yday.. may be we did... we might not have passed durin 3 and 1... but to win we don need coker to make plays... we need defense to show up and stop some of the runs....

ne one know how good is so. miss.. OL???

coker's big play ability would've helped quite a bit. But I agree that it doesn't matter who's on offense if our defense is always that bad.

Greetings Gentlemen. Southern Miss O'line is very young and new. That being said they managed to make enough holes for 370 rushing yards last evening by 3 different backs and the qb. Damion Fletcher is very very good, but do not be led in to thinking he is our only offensive weapon. As for our d, we have been mentioned in several national publications as having the fastest D outside of the SEC. It should be a great game and I am looking forward to it.:rock:

there can't be any excuses of overlooking So. Miss this year. After the Cal loss, the focus has to be dead on So. Miss and playing that game. Being the home opener helps and I think our guys will be jacked up. Coker will be back, maybe he can provide a spark and give us a big play ability, something that was desperately missing in California.
