That was a normal tackle! That wasn't head to head at all like the front office guy even claimed it was!

The QB was literally standing straight up like a dummy. If he went lower he would have been leading with his helmet. He had to tackle him up high. And all he did was grab him and tackle him like you're taught to do. Wasn't a gruesome tackle or anything by any means.

Good on Pruitt for ripping into those scumbags.

I'm getting fed up with these refs!!

No, you said you would have rather he thrown a pick 6. That's what I was responding to. A pick 6 gives them the ball on the 20. A failed conversion gave it to them on the 1.
 
The lineman has half a foot on the QB. There is no possible way for him to get under the helmet there. Hilinski also has been notable with his injury so refs are more likely to protect him as well just because.

I didn't know consideration of the height of the players involved was in the rulebook anywhere?
