Every team has games like this. OSU,Bama etc. A&M had to play SC dowm to the wire like we did.

That's true but Butch Jones game after game trying to run out clocks when the only way to do it is with first downs is getting really old. He gave USC the game and only luck saved him.

It needs to. A lot of it was execution by the players and silly mistakes but you don't mention it being on them. He needs to place pride aside and promise to improve on gameday. Self reflection is good for improving. I know they do this as a coachingb staff behind closed doors. It's just a good time to share with the public they have the desire to improve.

I guess when our program has fallen into the shallow end of mediocrity, some of the fans just get used to it and embrace it. Sad to see so many of you accept such poor performances by the coaching staff, when we should have won by more than three-four scores easily. I guess that's what mediocrity does to you.

Thanks to the missed PI on the Vols in the endzone and the fumble at the end of the game, Jones and company can claim a victory. Those were the two most valuable plays off the game for the Vols.
