The Official Tennessee vs. South Carolina Game Thread, 12:00 PM ET, ESPN2

In that situation he might have called the time out sooner, who knows? Doesn't really matter so much at 35-7

Look at an elite coach like Saban. Do you think he loses those 10 seconds up 35-7? Don't make excuses for that. It needs to be corrected.

1000+ yards. 100+ points in last 6 quarters.

Crazy,,, just Crazy!!!

Against 2 SEC schools too. Not the best SEC teams but still, All VOLS fans have to be pinching themselves after the past 15 years.

I truly think it can be a glimpse into the VOLS future,,,, I have BVS but I still have hope :p

Go VOLS!!!! GBO

I hope Eric Gray is having a great time at Oklahoma.

I think EVERY transfer out from TN is doing this right now.....

Timeouts allow for defenses to regroup and substitute. That can be counterproductive with how this offense operates.
Yeah but in those situations they needed to use them. We wasted 10 seconds after the Hyatt catch and then 2 more after the first down. 12 more seconds means TD in all likelihood.

It certainly is refreshing to be able to see the players' confidence growing like this. It must feel to some of the older guys like they're getting a transfusion of life-giving blood after having been bleeding out for so long. And this new energy surrounding Tennessee is, I guarantee you, impressing some recruits out there. GO VOLS! 🧡🏈

Stupid clock management? Criticisms that we didn’t score a TD on that last 1st half drive?

LMAO looks like the criticisms have shifted a bit.

Face it trolls and nega-Vols. TN is back in black with a vengeance! Heupel is on a mission. Hooker is still learning and improving every week. So is our team. It’s a steep learning curve and we will continue to miss some opportunities and even make some big mistakes.

So what?? This is NOT the same struggling developing team that played Pitt and FL. This is a team making DRAMATIC progressive improvement every day, every week.
Would love to have those 2 games back vs Pitt and FL. And while we’re NOT ready to contend for the SEC crown or playoffs, and I’m NOT predicting any big upsets, if I’m Ole Miss I don’t want to play this team. Same if I’m Bama or GA. This is like facing the Johnny Majors tight culture supercharged with a clear minded aggressive spread O that scores points.

If I’m a QB, RB or WR with legit skills I’m 100% gonna think twice maybe three times about coming to play for the 2022 Vols vs somewhere else where I might sit behind other starters. No matter what our final record ends up being from this point.

A new era has dawned and I for one am LOVING this new Heup culture win lose or draw.

Maybe he does, maybe he don't! Saban don't run this type of warp speed offense either. It seems Heupel would rather run more plays instead of calling a time out and giving the D time to set up. On the play they lost the 10 sec the offense had trouble lining up.

I hate Uncle Lou, That jagoff is laughing at us on youtube right now...I can't wait for UGA to choke and send that loser back to his misery.
