The Official Tennessee vs. South Carolina Game Thread, 12:00 PM ET, ESPN2

If we can keep scoring 100 points for every 90 minutes of play and only give up 24 points every 90 minutes (special teams TD doesn't count), I like our chances.

Alright, I feel crazy saying it...but....we headed for a Top-25 matchup under the lights next week? Does back-to-back dismantlings of P5 teams do enough to rank the Vols????
Not likely. Based on our history of embarrassing anyone in the media that claimed "Tennessee's back, Baby!" in the past, they'll be leary to drink the kool-aid yet.

Heupel believes if he calls a TO in that situation, it gives the defense a chance to set up and as aggressive he is on offense he does not want to let up. Clock managment with a different twist for sure
I understand not calling them so I have no complaints.

Again, it's 38-7 at halftime the week after what, a 45-10 halftime? Zero complaints should be made.

He’s playing fine. All I said he wasn’t a great runner. More than one occasion today I thought he was going to get way more than he did. He’s mobile enough though even if he makes it look like he’s got a hook in his mouth when nobody is around him. He’s no Dobbs and that was just a crazy comparison.

Absolutely not Dobbs but from what I understand the young kid they have coming in is more electric. If Hooker comes back and he gets a year to learn this offense has the ability to be even faster.

We’ll see.

This team is finally fun to watch again! The only criticism I'd have is Heupel needs to work on their two minute drill

What does he need to work on? They went 64 yards and put points on the board in 2 minutes. As a matter of fact, it hummed along until we had to call time outs and gave SC a chance to set their defense. It's almost like Huepel's offense works better going fast and he knows it. But VN has some HoF armchair guys so I'm torn on which philosophy I'll go with. The guy who has put up 1000 yards and 100 points in the last 6 quarters or VN guys who played middle school ball.

Actual security cam footage from the visitors locker room in Neyland during Beamer's halftime speech.....

I agree. I think he just wants to go so fast that a timeout feels like a defeat for Hype.
With the game (I hate to say under control) perhaps it’s as much about having the guys perform under pressure. So when they have to do this at the end of a game, with no timeouts, they have in game experience of having to make it happen.
