It takes proven yourself as a coach and mentor. Just because an individual was a beast of a player doesn't mean it translates to coaching. I would much rather Al Wilson prove himself somewhere else before coming to TN. This is the problem with TN fans hanging on to the past. We see how old Phil Fulmer worked out.

Just having him around the program more doesent mean he coaches he could be in an off the field role. The man is exactly what you want in an ambassador for Tennessee. Maybe it’s just me though
