He may not be the high scorer very often due to minutes, but Stella is my pick to make ESPN' top 10 first. The VCU game will be so up and down the floor that could be the first.

I am loving the balanced scoring tonight. So far...

Moore 15
JRich 13
Mostella 10
Punter 7
Hubbs 6
Reese 6
Woodson 4
McGhee 4
Owens 2

Reese with a really good drive fake/pass for the easy bucket. Reese showing some offensive skills we didn't see last year

Going to need a little better player recognition in the zone. That's one of the harder things to learn when you are transitioning in a zone defense. All players standing outside the 3 point line are not created equal. Granted, Simmons has hit some tough shots, but UT is going to need to get better at identifying shooters in transition. You can't just sag back into the zone and then find the shooters, or you're going to get lit up from the outside. That being said, this is why you play exhibition games against decent teams. It shows you what you need to work on. I'm sure it's something DT will be talking about in practice. You've got to know the scouting report of every player when you play zone.

Not bad for the 1st night out. I have been a little worried about the team and how things would be with the new coach. Looks like coach is going to aggressive on d and run the floor. should be a fun group to watch. They look to be fast and athletic. We will need a re-bounder or 2 as we go along. I hope someone emerges! Looks like we may have a good young group of kids! GO VOLS!

Told ya'll to guard him! :)

Congrats on the win.

Have fun! Should be an easy win- Cats trampled them by 48 last night, so they should be plenty worn out. :chair:

Watch out for KK Simmons, who lit it up last night- 6 of 9 from 3's and 28 points. Other than that, they're pretty average.
