No argument on JG but Maurer did not win this game, he literally threw 2 picks in the red zone

Yep. He’s got to fix that and learn. I didn’t see the first part of the game, but listened to it...wondering if we’re not getting Maurer in the right situations in the red zone? He’ll learn and get better though.

Defense done more to win the game than anybody. I appreciate that JG was able to make enough plays mainly through the runningbacks to get us the win. You can see a huge difference on the field however between JG and Maurer. Maurer is faster has a better arm and quicker thinker. I'm glad JG got it done today but out future right now for this season is Maurer being in there.

Or if you want to be aggressive you’re averaging 4 or so yards per play. Just let them try to get the first.

Sure MSU is no Florida or Georgia, but that was the best (BY FAR) they have played all year.....probably the best I have seen them play in 3 or 4 seasons.

The field shrinks in the red zone. Basically, a very talented HS senior QB is playing against college defenses. He'll improve as he continues to get used to the speed of defenses at this level.

You know, you watch Pruitt on the sideline or talking to reporters and he always comes off flatlined. Monotone and kinda tired even.
I certainly believe you have to have mostly self-motivated players to be successful, but this guy inspires zero excitement or enthusiasm in his team.
He doesn't have to be Lou Holtz, but just show emotion of some kind, please !!!

If you couldn't tell the difference between the offense with Maurer in there and JG then you might need lasik. JG starts this game its 100% chance of a loss.

Yea.The difference is we moved the ball and scored with JG and didn't have killer turnovers.
