The Official Tennessee vs. Michigan Game Thread, 7:15 pm ET(03/28/14), CBS

Gut wrenching. The last 30 seconds, I died a little inside. Gonna have to avoid this place for a week or so. @#$#!!

Even if they don't call the charge on Stokes, he was going nowhere and the ball was getting cleanly stolen. He should have been passing. The call probably benefited us in terms of clock management.

The miracle comeback was just one shot away and it ends like that. But I guess it's fitting. Seems to be the way things go everytime we get deep in the tourney. 20 pt lead over #1 Ohio State and lose by 1. Elite 8 vs Mich St and lose by 1. Down 15 tonight only to comeback and lose by 2.
Only bad part about advancing in tourney is it's imminent we'll lose a heartbreaker.

Sure seems that way, doesn't it?

We are really going to b1tch about the reffing when we had to foul Michigan like 3 times at the end of the game to get them in the bonus while we were already in the bonus?

The refs were fine most of the game. There were many reasons why we lost, the refs were way down the list if even on it.

This argument never makes sense. Just because we had less fouls doesn't mean it was well officiated. In fact, the first half was terrible. Stokes pushed out? Stokes raked across the eyes? Give me a break.

Indeed. That 80% clip in the first half is what killed tho.

Yep hard to beat a very good team when you give up more than 9 threes. Like the Heat the Wolverines are aces at shooting threes.
That and the basket that could have went down but didn't, and some other basket they didn't make in the second half.

Valiant effort by the Vols but a bitter end because they weren't able to finish it off. The basket that wouldn't go down, maybe some other basket that didn't go down in the second half two major plays they needed but even with those failures still had a chance to take the lead.

Although defeated on the scoreboard the ultimate result never in spirit as they nearly came back from a 15 point lead to take the lead. Adveristy reveals character and the Volunteers shinned showing to be champions.

The future is bright of Mens Volunteers Basketball. They'll go farther in the tournament next season.
While Stokes contact would have created some alteration not to the amount that Michigan showed. Shouldn't have been called a foul and look like a damn flop.

Even if it is a foul taking off the Orange Colored Glasses I still think that Morgan overacted.
