So in three years you found one stretch matching what has been Tyndall's tenure so far? Not really proving your point. Not to mention all the Martin games were SEC games. We could score more than 72 vs these teams. He had the same type of roster his first year. Even before Stokes we scored 93,85,67,97,86,81,56,70,65,72 first ten games.

Good win. Just like with Martin I don't care the score as long as we win.

Let's not act like Donnie ball isn't ugly though.

The offense is ugly right now, but I think we've got some really exciting players.
Never know what Moore's going to come up with.
I think Baulkman will be another when he really gets healthy.
Some of these young big kids are going to be fun also.

Actually starting to enjoy this team. If we can get to sec play with no bad losses we will have a tourney shot. Martin would of had one or two inexplicable losses by now.

Which ever coach you prefer, Pearl nor Martin are no longer here so why try to compare? Tyndall is our coach now, if you can’t get behind him try supporting the players, the ones wearing the orange.

For a hastily thrown together roster; this team has a tremendous amount of potential. With the issues for the front court (one injury and on idiot that got kicked off) we can match up pretty well with bigger teams. I believe the problems with the offense will get worked out; the defense is already pretty good.

Youth playing under the basket requires the defense to play sagging, closer to the paint, allowing open 3pt shots. Nwamu made several of his six 3 pointers well beyond the 3 point line, all but 1 or 2 contested. When he is averaging 18.3 pts, 47.3% fg, 44.1% 3pt., and 74.6% ft per game, he may have a career game most nights. Granted he had the hot hand, 9 for 18 fg, 6 of those 3 pointers but the Vols held all other Mercer player to a total of 6fg. Not so bad.

People will complain about Nwamu going off, but honestly I saw nothing wrong with the defense. The dude was just throwing it in from everywhere. I just wish we'd have shown more of an ability to exploit our edge in athleticism and run a little more. Especially early on, we were dribbling around the perimeter way too much and no way Mercer should turn us over that much.

Still, a win is a win and ugly as it may be sometimes, this team always plays with energy and fights.

Until we get some people who can shoot and score, the wins will be ugly because they will be from defense and turning over the other team. btw, some may see this style of play as a beautiful thing. Pretty or ugly, depending on how you define it, as long as you win is what counts.

Baulkmann beginning to score gives me hope that we will be better than I expected. If we can get another one or two scoring, maybe Punter or Hubbs, this season could turn out to be pretty good.

That's interesting, because the dwindling attendance from Pearl to Martin was a constant point of reference for why he wasn't the guy, yet Tyndall is on pace for a decade low.
