Hard to do that under the pressure of fighting for playing time.

Tyndall and Barnes both have yanked him out of so many games it's hard to blame him for not playing relaxed

Barnes trademark?
Hasn't done his big guys much good.

I think it's maybe just his disposition. He's about the same in interviews as well. I wonder if he ever cuts up in practice.

If Forbes does well at ETSU, I wonder if he might use ETSU as a stepping stone job to a bigger program like Ed DeChellis who is now at Navy after being at Penn State for a while.

Forbes is a really good coach. The question is: will he be able to recruit at a high level?

We should win...but this team beat Georgia Tech in Atlanta. Can't come out sluggish against and let them hang around. I'm looking for a big game from Admiral...GBO

I think if he would just scratch the 3pt shot and become a slasher only he can really help.

3pt % is just too painfully low to keep firing.

I agree he needs to look to drive first. But despite his %, he is a good enough shooter to keep defenders honest. The team also needs another deep threat. You mention in a later post that due to being yanked so often by Tyndall and Barnes that its understandable not being comfortable out there, and I agree. I also think that has had something to do with his erratic shooting.

Last game he looked the most focussed and comfortable I think I've seen him since he's been here. I hope he gets minutes early and can build off that tonight.

I've seen a few ETSU games his year and they are a team that either plays lights out or worse than a middle school team. They are led by multiple transfers (Guyn from Cincinnati, Bello from Baylor/Missouri, and their big 7 footer from Indiana) and have about 8 guys that can shoot 3s. It will be a high paced and fun game to watch.

Only thing (non-human) I love as much as my Vols...

My BUCS!

I had the privilege of "guest-coaching" the Bucs a few games ago. Hung out all day with Coach Forbes, Coach Shay and the team. Awesome experience.

Coach Shay asked for this scout, and the dude can put a game plan together. Watch out!

Our record isn't indicative of the talent we have, as probably 80% of ETSU's roster is new to the team. Forbes flipped it in one year, but chemistry is an issue.

It hasn't yet been mentioned, but ETSU beat Georgia Tech at Tech, a team UT lost to.

Hope for a great, clean game. Go BOTH TEAMS!

ETSU is loaded with shooters from beyond the arc. One in particular is our homeboy and Jabari's friend T.J.Cromer. He's a high-percentage shooting guard who can make shots from anywhere on the floor.

He is a transfer from Columbia State Community College where for 2 years he averaged 19.9 points per game, connected on 107 3-pointers and shot 46 percent from beyond the arc. He'll be wearing #0

Although TJ is my boy, I'm still pulling for the Vols. GBO

Shay was the one that was so good for us on the scout correct?

That's a solid win.

Last yrs Bucs team shot the 3 well also. Probably won't see much zone from Tennessee. Imo

My TV guide is showing that the SEC Network is carrying the Georgia -v- Clemson game. Is it showing on the SEC Alternate channel?

Is it just me, or do we get way fewer ut games on tv this year than before? I have only watched one game this year and had to stay up until midnight to finish it.
