He's an average QB. Nothing wrong with that people just need to temper their expectations. He's not Cam Newton. He's not Jamarcus Russell. He's a lot more like JG than people want to believe. JG a better runner. Milton a stronger arm.

The big difference is that Milton doesn't seem to make the poor decision/meltdowns that JG had which knocked us out of games but he definitely isn't very accurate. Perhaps it is lack of time working with the WRs in the offseason.

I have been defending Milton all night but I am starting to think we need to try someone else. We should have more offense at this point, even if Bowling Green is that damn NCAA AI player that just burns clock off and never does anything on offense.

At least give somebody else a shot.

If he can't get it done against this defense we won't have a chance in most games, can't be this one dimensional in the SEC.

I'm sold on him being average and close to being sold on him being our best option. He's not a Heisman contender by any means.

Agreed. I’m a huge fan of HB but I’m not sure that he knows this system well enough, is mobile enough and prepared to make the quick decisions.
