Tennessee has won at least one SEC Tournament game in seven of the last eight seasons (lost opening game in 2012).

Kevin Punter Jr. (injured) averaged 17.5 points and had a 7.0 assist/turnover ratio in two games vs. Auburn this season.

Though he was held to just three points in two previous games vs. Auburn this season, Armani Moore did total 21 rebounds in those contests (10.5 rpg).

Snap UT’s current four-game losing streak, as well as its two-game skid in the city of Nashville.

Give UT a 9-3 record vs. Auburn in the SEC Tournament.

Set up a second-round meeting with fth-seeded Vanderbilt Thursday at ~3:30 ET/2:30 CT.

We have to win the 1st two games or our enemies are going to humiliate us.

Lose to Auburn and Pearl will have owned Barnes thus far.

Lose to Vanderbilt and we finish the season 0-3 against the Dores after beating them 2 of 3 times last year. Mid-state fans will have to keep a low profile until fb season.

If and I mean a big IF we beat Auburn. Vanderbilt will take us to the wood shed again.

Legitimately, we can and should beat Auburn, even without Punter. However, Vanderbilt seems a little tougher task, and we should be aware of how the sports media in this state, as well as nationally, will enjoy rubbing the fact that we lost 3 times in one season to them. Let's just hope that no one will be able to say these things by going out and winning the game, if it comes to that.

Nationally, no one cares if Vandy beats us 3 times. Locally, they'll care until about July when they'll be all over UT's sack because we're going to be a legit SEC contender and no one will give a flip what's happening on West End and Mason's 3 wins he'll get. And even then they're not going to care that much, Vandy doesn't even get that much press in Nashville and it's their hometown.

I've noticed their hasn't been many predictions yet. I'm gonna say Tennessee gets this one, and for no other reason than Armani Moore. I think he has a big game tonight.

BTW, I think he kinda got shafted on not being selected to the SEac all-defensive team. What he did @ 6'5 and the number of positions he guarded to do it was very good. Imo
Just thought I'd throw that out there.

I hope to see some fight from the Vols tonight. If so then the Vols by 10. If not could be the other way around or worse.

Barnes will have a good game plan and Pearl will be making a spectacle of himself. Which ever team shoots less worse from the perimeter wins.
