The defense has its issues, but the inability to compete against decent teams all comes down to the offense not scoring points in the second half. There is enough talent there to be competitive. Florida is clearly the better team, but this offense is absolutely impotent.

What I think we’re seeing with HB tonight is what normal programs see with a young QB under development. The problem is that this process should have started 2-3 weeks ago.

Part of what makes us impatient is that literally every time one of our opponents plays a brand new QB, we make him look like a Heisman front-runner. We wonder why our youngster can’t do the same.

This is just tough to take right now, but there’s still a lot of positive going in here with HB. It’s growing pains. What REALLY sucks is that we’d be farther along if the decision had been made when it should have been (2-3 weeks ago).

Yup and Weinke and Friend aren't doing him any favors either.
