Dropping that pass on the fake punt in the 3rd quarter epitomized what is still wrong with this team’s mentality and the program’s culture. A nice, easy pitch and catch. A perfectly thrown ball by the punter. Just completely wiffed it.

This team isn’t prepared to win, mentally or otherwise. That one play didn’t really make a difference (we subsequently “held” UF to a missed FG), but it just shows how our guys still don’t yet have what it takes, especially between the ears, to make a big play.

On a brighter note, there is no way Harrison Bailey can go back on the bench behind JG. It hasn’t been great by any means, but at least there are some signs of potential. With JG, every drive was just the start of new disappointment.
