No Pruitt being a bad coach lead to that. Florida converted 2 3rd downs that was 11 and 12 yards for first down and one of those was a screen pass. So much for Pruitt being such a good defensive coach,

Yeah let them have the short pass and keep it in front but having numbers on the edge was costly.

That’s something to be optimistic about sure. That optimism is dulled because Pruitt is his coach.

Why not pass? Take a shot way down field so if it is an INT it will not matter.

it would matter. Their kicker has the leg of a horse. They would have time for two out routes against this defense and kick a field goal. Running the clock out was the right call there. I don’t like it either but it gives you a chance to go in at half time and make something called adjustments. Idk if this team has learned what that is yet
