This defense this year is bad make no mistake. But the defense Sunseri fielded was absolutely abysmal. I still remembered Reed and Burton killing Jacques Smith around the edges for 20 and 30 yard gains because Sunseri couldn’t call a defense to contain

I think Shrout is the best example of how bad the quarterbacks coaching has been under Pruitt. That kid has a ton of arm talent, and he has yet to make any noticeable improvement in his three years here.

JG has arm talent too, but that’s not the point. I don’t think Shrout is as talented as many think he is. He was a three star player and makes a lot of bad throws and mistakes. He has played well recently, but Harrison Bailey is much more talented.
