The Official Tennessee vs. #20 Kentucky Game Thread, 7:00pm ET, ESPN

I don't know which one is the biggest disappointment the players or Barnes. He is the one who is putting the product out on the floor. Do they even hold practice ?

I'm only in the first quarter of the posts. I assume CRB gets credit later.

All those 2 and 3*s were too much for Calipari's 5*s.

Give me guys like Moore or Punter, who work their asses off to make plays when their teams need it. Murray was ****ing awful tonight. He gets his 21, but probably gives up 25 on defense. And once again no one at the 4 or 5 can stay on the court without fouling constantly.

When did UT put them in the Endzones? UK had them on the field in the 30s iirc.

Either way, UT made it the iconic trademark it is today. UK just does it b/c they think it looks good.

Doug Dickey, 1960s is what I've often heard. Weren't there for about 25-30 years from the late sixties until the 90s. Probably went away when the Tartan Turf was installed before the 1968 season.

I don't believe Butler and Gonzaga should be on that list. I didn't watch the entire games, but I am fairly sure we trailed almost the entire games. The ones that were true collapses were A&M, Bama, and TCU. GTech and GW were close as well.

Give UT the TCU, A&M, and Bama games and we're sitting at 14-8 overall, 7-2 in the SEC, on the bubble with wins over the 3 best teams in the conference (UK, A&M, Florida), and Barnes is in the national Coach of the Year discussion. Just sayin'.

The Wildcats are 151-68 in this series. Kentucky has lost to Tennessee more than any other team.

KY now leads 52-48 in Knoxville. TN needs to get the advantage back like they had it pre-TBA. Thompson-Boling needs to never be Rupp South again. Bring back the days of the Stokely Curse.

I'm so dang mad,,,,, thought the game was coming on tomorrow,,,,, got update when it ended,,,,,, our team lacks a few key players like a point guard and a big man,,,,, next year will look better even though we are losing punter,,,,,, nothing but good things will happen for the VOLS in the future GBO

Heads up... Bruce Pearl brings Auburn to Knoxville next week on TUESDAY, 2/9/16.

would be the worst loss in calipari era for so many reasons...

and not even close.

I don't get this at all. How is losing to this Tennessee team on their floor worse than losing to a Robert Morris on your floor? Pretty insulting man.

We lost to them in the NIT, in a season where we lost our star, best player, to a horrific injury. After the injury UK was lost. I don't think it was our floor either. In fact, I think it was up near their campus.

This game and the Auburn game are easily the worst in my memory under Cal. I'm not even talking about the difference in ranking. Our best players struggled so much. We coughed huge leads, and just looked lost. I'm sure IU, USCjr losses were bigger upsets, but these two losses have stung soooo much worse. This team one day competes against the #4 team on the road, and the next day loses to a sub .500 team. No offense.

That game was played at a neutral site, cause Rupp was hosting aa games that weekend. My mistake

Still disagree with your opinion this is his worst loss, during his time there. He's had some stinkers on the road, and as undermanned as this Tennessee team is its proven when playing well they can hang with a lot of quality teams.

Iirc RM rushed the court. Our season was over when Noel went down. It was still a terrible loss, no doubt.

I didn't mean to insult UT. Let me rephrase. These two losses have been the most demoralizing losses I can remember under Cal. This team is more bipolar than any other. Has a very high ceiling, and an extremely low floor.

What a fantastic win. Still need to watch it on the DVR. I gave UT very little chance in this one because of the size difference. Good to see the seniors get a win over Ky in their last year. Whether Ky is a title contender or not, they're still loaded. I also imagine most Ky fans are pissed for losing to the likes of Auburn and UT. That'll drop your seeding. The only thing that would've made this season better is a win over Candy. We got 2 of the 3 we want to beat the most. We get one more shot.
