• Tennessee is making its second appearance at the Battle 4 Atlantis. The 2017 field includes the Vols, Arizona, NC State, Northern Iowa, Purdue, SMU, Villanova and Western Kentucky. The Vols open against Purdue on Wednesday.

• The Battle 4 Atlantis takes place at the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island, Bahamas. All games are played on the resort property in Imperial Arena.

• In Atlantis in 2013, Tennessee dropped its opening game to UTEP before bouncing back to defeat Xavier and Wake Forest.

• Give Tennessee its first 3-0 start since the 2010-11 season

• Even UT's all-time series with Purdue at 2-2, dating to 1980

• Stand as Tennessee's fourth win under coach Rick Barnes over an opponent ranked in the AP top 25

• Give the Vols a 23-34 all-time record against current members of the Big Ten Conference

Atlantis is located 800 miles from Knoxville, Tennessee.

This is UT’s second all-time appearance at Atlantis but the rst for head coach Rick Barnes.

James Daniel III is the nation’s leading active career scorer, with 1,939 Division I points to his credit. See chart on Page 5.

Through two games, the Vols’ rst-half defense has been impressive. See note on Page 3.

Gonna be a huge test, very possible this is one of the best teams we see all year long if not the best...

Hoping I'm wrong but I'm gonna say Purdue 79-72

If UT can hold Purdue's bigs to 40 points or less and Williams, Schofield and Bowden have big games, I think UT wins this game.

It will be a great coaching matchup between Painter and Barnes.

First page!!!

Never a problem on the BB forum for some reason... for that matter, in any thread except one. ;)

I'm liking CRB more and more as this team develops. GBO! and soon.

Vols by 10+

Go big or go home. Our depth and speed wears out the boilermakers and they derail in the second half.
