The Official Tennessee vs. #17/20 West Virginia Game Thread, 3:30 PM ET, CBS

Good question. That's been Tennessee football for the last 10 years. Looks like nothing has changed.

Are you people watching the game or what? They have thrown several hitch routes, crossing routes, etc. I actually LIKE the offensive gameplan we've had. Jordan is out there fighting, JG has been on point all day, we are running sweeps and misdirection and I-formation. The offensive line still sucks and the historically bad defense from last year is going to take more than 1 game or even 1 year to get fixed.

I'm fine with what Helton is calling.

I'm dead serious. Is it not unreasonable to expect some kind of improvement on D? Or even something other than a regression?

Yes it most certainly is. But whatever. If you viewed this game through rational thought, you should have known that we would struggle mightily. Many of us knew Pruitt had his work cut out for him. We were a steaming pile of garbage last year and that doesnt get fixed in a year.

I'm frustrated that we hired a respected DC to be our head coach, and our defense still can't even tackle correctly, or play a basic man-to-man scheme.
It takes time. Rich Rodriguez went mental and looks idiotic now but he led us to our best decade of football after going 3-8 his first year.

Folks need to relax. Anyone who expected immediate results with this roster is an idiot. Why else would coach hunt down grad transfers by the bunches? He knew talent was missing. We have no pass rushers a very youthful secondary and are playing what will be a top 10 offense nationally.

Give it time
Uh,how much time? Another 10 years?

Can't wait for Pruitt's presser when he talks about how much better we're gonna be and acts all tough and sure of himself...and it's all BS.
