The INT by Hooker turned the game around

Yes, it certainly didn't help as GA turned it into pts. Hooker was off tonight. We needed a near-perfect game to have a chance for the upset. The 1st quarter was exciting but all downhill after that. We're an average football team with average players (a few exceptions). We'll go bowling which is not bad for a 1st-year coach at TN. The last one to go bowling in their first season was the idiot who picked TN to win tonight-Lane Kiffin. We have a long ways to go. We're not even in the top 10 in the sec in recruiting, something coach H will have to fix if he's going to be successful here. Not being negative, just honest observations after watching this game, it's clear we are nowhere close to competing for the sec. We have two games left that we should win.

At the beginning of the season, I don't think many thought we'd play in a bowl game so that is a tremendous accomplishment by the players and coaching staff.

Backup players aren't playing because they aren't very good and the 3 starters have been money.

Love the 3 starters. It's not a knock on them at all man. Doesn't mean we don't need to upgrade long-term though. Get an offensive roster like Hunter, Rodgers, Patterson, and Rivera or Malone, Jennings, Calloway, Smith, etc.

When you don't take the points, you start chasing points, which leads to forced fourth down attempts to climb back into the game.

You never pass up points. Never. And the last two coaches we've had have done so regularly.

These players aren't under any insane pressure. If they were a title contender then yes. That would be awful. They're playing in a game they should lose.
