Just 181.63 miles separate UT’s Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville and Vanderbilt’s Memorial Gymnasium in Nashville.

Tennessee’s 116 wins over Vanderbilt are its most over any opponent.

True freshmen have accounted for 40 percent of Tennessee’s points over the last three games (82 of 204).

In three games without Kevin Punter Jr., UT averages 68.0 ppg

Give the Vols three wins in their last four trips to Memorial Gym.

Make Tennessee 2-3 in SEC rematch games this season.

Give UT a 2-2 record in the absence of injured senior Kevin Punter Jr., who is the nation’s 12th-leading scorer (22.2 ppg).

Prevent Tennessee’s first three-game SEC losing streak of the season.

Every time we play Vandy it infuriates me to look at their stupid court with their ridiculous home court advantage built in with their idiotic bench location.

This is the SEC. Fix your court you big dorks.

They have recently allowed coaches to be court side which changes that some IMO

So your choices are to stand behind a goal or remove yourself from your players and assistants and stand alone on the sideline....

How about the SEC steps in and tells them to fix their court situation?

I'll be satisfied if the freshmen show more progress tonight and play well.

If hubbs plays, we have a slight chance, no hubbs, and we have no chance. But, what the hay.... Vols 81 vandy 79

I'm afraid this one is going to get ugly. Vandy should be solidly in the tourney, yet they've farted around and lost a lot of games they shouldn't have and are in as a #10 seed in a lot of projections. The only chance UT has in this one is if Hubbs comes back and has a big game and Vandy is still high in the clouds over their win over Ky. If we don't compete, it'll be a 20+ loss. Hell, it might be anyway.

They say that they can't have the benches on the side because it obscures the view for some with the elevated court (then eliminate the first few rows of seats). Yet they have the cheerleaders on the side and advertising banners on the side. Yes, they need to fix it. Too much of a home court advantage. Especially for coaches that can call plays and defenses by whistling.

I believe that your reasoning is right on! This is exactly how upsets occur and especially in a rivalry game. We will be sky high in that we will want to knock off the dores on their home floor and have them crashing down to earth. This kind of attitude will have our guys firmly concentrating, whereas Vandy will be taking us for granted.

If we don't win...we are going to make them sweat the final result right up to the end!
