Not sure about that. In that case every time a qb gets hit as he throws and it wobbles it a a fumble. If you’re hand is pushing the ball forward you’re still the one making it go forward.

But the ball was out of his hand when the forward motion of the ball began. It was already loose, and thus a fumble. Doesn't matter after that.
