Well, I am glad for a few things...

1.)The game isn't over (despite reactions on here)
2.)We are tied (despite reactions on here)
3.)ESPN3 did not black this game out
4.)Most likely Bray, Hunter, and CP will not be going pro after this year
5.)Still very possible to win 8 games this year.

based on this years play, how is that a good thing?

please give up the push for Gruden. I live in Tampa. He is not liked by former players. Players on injured reserved he never checked in on them. When he was fired players on local sports call in show called in to say what an A Hole he was and glad he was gone. What is it about this guy does anyone think would make him good at developing young men's charater. Actually have ran into Gruden in grocery store here twice. Both times looked like he was shopping for himself. Seen Dungy in same store with his kids with him. Big difference. Let it go. Gruden has good football mind but not near as good on people skills. No one in Tampa would want him back as the coach of the Bucs.

Heck, I don't care about his people skills. Coaching someone at a position isn't necessarily the head coach's job. It's a position coach's job. If he's an a-hole, all the better. The players on this team need an a-hole to yell at them. They're a bunch of pansies.

I don't think Gruden will come, but if he will, get out the checkbook, IMO. The fact that he's been out of coaching for a couple of years could have helped him out anyway. He's been working in a communications job where he's had to talk to a TON of people. He might have improved in that department.

Your opinion on a coach is based on how he shops at a grocery store? Oh my God.

No crap. Anybody with any sense knows it has nothing to do with where he shops or how many coaches he lost in the off-season. It's about yoga pants; Dooley has a saggy butt, and that's it, conversation over. Fulmer could fill out his stretch pants and Dooley can't, and that's what the whole debate is really all about.

I am curious about how many people that don't like Dooley have experience working with college athletics and also how many that do like Dooley with experience.

I played fullback for a really terrible college team. I don't have any college coaching experience, but I'm sure I'm perfectly capable of going winless against ranked teams and going into halftime tied with Akron at home with the talent we have. Dave Hart, I am available to finish out the season if you want to give DD his walking papers tonight.

Good teams have good defenses. We don't. We got gashed by florida, getting gashed by akron, gonna get gashed by georgia. If you can't stop the other team, it's hard to win. That's not to excuse our offensive fu's--but in sports it always starts with defense. It's hard to win baseball games if you're giving up 6 runs a game.
