It should be a great game. I would give Indy the edge just because the game is in Indy. Vince Young and Chris Johnson will present problems for the Colts D. I'm happy Vince was given another chance. He's a winner, plain and simple.

Tennessee should be hyped for this game. Every game is huge for their playoff hopes. However, I think Indy wins another close one.

Colts- 27
Titans- 24

I think we are due for a blowout and VY is due for agame where he throws 3 ints.

I like both teams, I'm a Titans fan and want to see it happen but I don't see it.....The Colts will let us get a 14 point lead and then Peyton will remember he is in a football game and come out and throttle us

Vince and Johnson work well together, Johnson definitely compliments him but my question is, what are all you guys that are saying Vince will crumble going to do IF he comes out and has a great performance in Indy next Sunday and actually beats them? I'm not calling it but it could happen
I hope he does and i haven't said he'd crumble. Their letting him be Vince which is smart, because Peyton he is not.

What a great game that was. Couldnt believe it!

Lets go have fun in Indy and try to keep it close till the fourth quarter.

To bad for you all the season started in week 1 and not week 8. Young would not be anything without Chris Johnson, he is the only reason the Titans have won 5 games, without him the Titans are about 3-8

I'll agree with you about Johnson being a big reason why VY's done well, but I guess I missed the part where CJ drove the Titans down the field 2 straight weeks to win the game.

Give Young some credit. Without Johnson, VY probably would struggle because his best weapon would be a rookie WR. CJ had some monster games when Collins started too but they still lost.

It's a whole team change. WRs stopped dropping balls. OL blocked better (mostly for run). Defense played better and now there is a legit passing game teams will have to respect.

I guess we can chalk the defensive change up to growing pains with a new Coordinator and defensive philosophy... and getting Finnegan and Harper back. Hope and Griffin still played terribly up until after the bye week.

Yeah I agree that the team as a whole is playing better, but VY has been able to move the ball in the clutch lately and has made very few mistakes. To say he hasn't improved or that he's only good because of Johnson is ridiculous. I would also say part of the team's improvement is his leadership.

This is mostly my problem with the sudden Vince Young worship. It's not just that he's the QB, the whole freakin' team has changed. Receivers stopped dropping passes, the line started blocking, the defense actually has shown up. So while yeah, Young has gotten better, I'm not going to say he is THE reason they have started winning. I think that's going too far.

Such a fine line between being the hero or the goat. Without that game-winning touchdown pass to Britt, Young is being thrown under the bus for that boneheaded play to end the first half where he cost the team a shot at three points and thus forced them to score a touchdown at the end.

Young sure picked a fine time to channel his inner John Elway... now if he can just keep it up. There were a few games/moments like this in 2006 as well (the overtime touchdown run against the Texans & coming back from a 21-0 deficit to the Giants immediately come to mind).

Actually, this season is playing out almost exactly like '06. The Titans started off poorly (not 0-6, but I think 1-3 or something like that), they plugged Young into the starting lineup, and on the last day of the season everything fell right to make the playoffs if they could also beat the Patriots on that final day, and of course they didn't.

they started 0-3, plugged vince in, went to 0-5 before they won their 6th game against the redskins

Wishful thinking on your part. He has a 4-1 touchdown-interception ratio this season. Not to mention his completion percentage has skyrocketed almost 10 % since 07-08. The guy isn't just a winner anymore, he's becoming a more efficient passer under Heimererdinger's tutelage . His pocket presence and patience have continued to improve over the last 5 weeks. Indy's D will be another good test for him.

They also had another game that right about this time during the streak when they scored 24 points in the final 8 minutes to beat the Giants.

yes, that was the thanksgiving game that year. they were 4-6 by that time if i recall correctly their schedule that year

Didn't mean for it to come off as you said he would crumble....Sorry, I was mainly talking to the one Colts fan that is pretty much saying he sucked after he drove them down the field 99 yards for a game winner...:peace2:

If they can win this weekend, its huge. Big boost in terms of their playoff hopes.....After this weekend, I don't believe their schedule is too bad either, I think all that's left in terms of games that will be really tough is the Chargers....IF the Titans could win this weekend, it will make things a lot more interesting as far as the Wild Card picture goes

Give it up, not going to happen. The Titans will be watching the playoffs this year.

Might be the case, but at least they'll get a chance. Titans, not so much.
We were 13-3 last year best record I the league. Ravens beat us in our first playoff game. Believe me its nice to have the chance but when ur the #1 seed and u don't go to the superbowl it hurts worse

It always hurts losing a playoff game, but you can't win the super bowl if you don't make the playoffs. Only 1 team can win it so 31 other teams will always be hurt at the end of the season.

How many rings do the Titans have? And you may be right but at least we have a chance to and the Titans have 0 chance because they won't make the playoffs.
Ill never get the rings argument. That's the dummest argument in sports that fans use. Bama was like 5-7 and talking crap because they used to have winning teams. Who cares about what u did 3 yrs ago its over. Its a diffrent team. You want to use the 11-0 record to talk smack use it. I would. But the rings and championships of past seasons smack is just lame imo

Agreed. But still think it hurts more when ur the #1 seed. U have homefield and the best record. It just hurts more to me
