Jared Cook in the 3rd round. 2 SEC players so far. Cook ran a 4.5 which was the fastest 40 by a TE. Anyone who saw this guys play for South Carolina last year knows what a talent he is. IMO he was the best TE in the SEC. Think the Titans are getting a good one here. Also is some insurance in case we can't sign Bo Scaife to a long-term deal.

I'm a little disappointed that we picked Mouton while DJ Moore was still on the board though and that we didn't trade up to get a better WR than Britt.

I think they were hoping Hakeem Nicks fell to them and he went just ahead of where they picked. I don't know anything about the Mouton kid, but he's a returner and they were looking for someone to replace Carr. Not sure what the knock is on Moore. Figured he'd be gone by now.

Mouton is garbage. I saw him get burned in every single Hawaii game I've ever seen.

And Nicks would have been beastly. But still..oh well

And yeah, Moore is just too short I think. I don't think that justifies slipping this far though.

Not to mention the fact that Crumpler will be unrestricted....and even if he stays he is no spring chicken.

We could have done a lot worse than Britt. He is the best route runner of all the WR's that went in the first round and has huge upside. If he can develop more consistent hands he could be big time.

Yeah, I don't think that they've gotten what they expected to out of Crumpler. Wouldn't be surprised if they don't try to resign him. Don't forget we have Craig Stevens from Cal that we drafted last year too.

I think Cook is going to be a really good starting TE in this league though.

Through all of those injuries, Ringer continued to excel. He closed out his career as the school's second-leading rusher with 4,398 yards and set the MSU all-time record with 5,426 all-purpose yards. He ranks second in Spartans annals with 843 carries and tied for fourth with 34 touchdown runs. His workhorse-like season in 2008 saw him carry the ball 390 times, the second-highest season total in school and Big Ten Conference history.

With all of those lofty numbers, Ringer still remained the consummate team player. One example of his unselfishness came in his press conference after rushing for five touchdowns vs. Eastern Michigan in 2008. He led his entire offensive line on to the dais with him, telling all the media assembled, "these guys are the real game MVPs and deserve all the credit."

Sounds like the kind of guy we are more known for. High character kid who just wants to play football. Should be a great asset to the Titans. I'm excited about this guy.

I like the draft so far. I actually like Kenny Britt, but I do like Nicks better though. But Britt is a good WR. Great route runner, great speed, pretty good hands and is very strong for a WR

I'm happy with the Titans' draft picks this year. They filled their needs and didn't really reach for anyone. I especially like Marks, Cook and Ringer.

Where do you get great speed? He has about average speed and all the draft services said his areas for improvement or his weaknesses were his hands... and his strengths were route running, size, strength, intelligence. Seems like Justin Gage to me except less lanky and more bulky.

4.47 speed sounds pretty good to me
