Vrabel was not getting this team to a SB with the staff he put in place. That's why he was fired. He kept promoting his buddies who had no business being in those positions. Josh McDaniels seemed more or less forced on him by Craft in NE.
Now sure, neither of Vrabels previous 2 GMs gave him any help the last few years here. Those drafts were straight garbage and the AJ Brown trade was the icing on the cake. The lack of talent was largely to blame for our demise. But Vrabel shared plenty of blame with his staff choices.
Sure. But even with his drunk OC or Shane Bowen being washed, his worst years were still lightyears better than the past 2 seasons. I mean hell last year, the first thing that was noticeably different and foreshadowing that nepo baby's tenure being a disaster was the lack of discipline on the field.
Rumor has it the steelers are possibly moving on from Tomlin and the Titans are prepared to pounce if that happens. They are also allegedly looking at Jesse Minter as a candidate. Nobody is talking about McCarthy as a candidate, which seems odd.
All rumors at this point.
If the Titans get Tomlin then they may as well have just kept Vrabel. They coach a very similar style of ball.Rumor has it the steelers are possibly moving on from Tomlin and the Titans are prepared to pounce if that happens. “The record for the most sacks in a single NFL game is seven, held by Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Derrick Thomas, achieved against the Seattle Seahawks on November 11, 1990, against quarterback Dave Krieg. Several players have come close with six sacks in a game, and others have recorded five sacks, but Thomas's seven-sack performance remains the unparalleled benchmark”What's the single game sack record?
