Why are you bringing rational thinking into this thread?I know I’ve been hyping him since well before we drafted him, but I think a lot of people already holding him on a savior’s pedestal are delusional. Cam seems to be heading in the right direction, but he’s still going to be a rookie…on a pretty bad team no less. He’s going to go 3 and out a lot, he’s going to throw interceptions, he’s going to fumble and have busted plays, get sacked, etc. What I’m looking for is how he comes back from that. Can he adjust? Can he have goldfish memory when he needs to? Are we moving the ball, ever? That’s what I’ll measure this season with. Anything more than slow, steady progress will be icing on the cake.

They have somehow combined no pash rush with no pass blocking. A rare treat for one team.
I'm not paying super close attention these days.Top 5 OL in the league according to ESPN.

Not to mention outside Ridley questionable receivers and offensive line but through two preseason games the line seems much improved.I know I’ve been hyping him since well before we drafted him, but I think a lot of people already holding him on a savior’s pedestal are delusional. Ridley is 30 and he'll be 31 in December. And he is averaging only 59.8 YPG over the last 2 seasons. He's more of a WR1 by default than he is a true No. 1. It isn't like Ayamanor is trying to overtake Jamar Chase. He's not going to have a better season than Ridley and overtake him as WR1. That's crazy
2 words. Will Levis
He had a 1k yard season with Levis throwing him the ball last year. 1k yards should be the floor for this season. The Titans haven't had a WR post more than 1100 yards since Drew Bennett in 2004.He was the same receiver with Trevor Lawerence throwing him footballs. And while Trevor Lawrence isn't amazing, he's an average NFL starting QB. I think we would all be pretty happy if Cam Wards rookie season resembled T-Law's 2023 season.
Ridley has 1 great year in his career. Every other year he has been good/not great. Sort of a borderline WR1.
