The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

Call me Mr. Naive, but that seems like an unusually high dollar amount for something that was probably a joke in poor taste.

Is tying a noose a crime?
I remember a few years back the media went nuts when a pulldown rope for a garage door at a NASCAR event had a noose and the media was on a witch hunt....Seems they found out later the noose had been there a long time and all of a sudden the news disappeared.

Yeah, once some construction worker rats out his buddy for the $250k....then what happened?

If it was a bad joke toward Hispanics, the DA can get a letter of apology. The guy loses his job. Maybe pay a small fine.

Obviously, I'm sheltered from something here because while I don't approve of noose tying; $250k sounds like something Amy offered up.

Been a casual Titans fan for the past 10 years. Very casual.

My passion for CFB has taken a nosedive and I'm looking to start watching the NFL more.

I know Levis is injured and out this season. I'm assuming Cam Ward starts.

Can someone please give me a quick summary on the outlook of the team this season and any other important stuff?

The Titans will be a top 5 team....In the 2026 NFL draft.

We might be pretty decent defensively if guys stay healthy. Simmons and Sweat are pretty fantastic duo on the interior DL. Secondary is underrated, imo.

Offensively its a crap shoot. Coaching staff/playing call is questionable and the overall group of offensive skill players is bottom 10 in the league. I'm expecting 6-7 wins at most.

Hopefully Ward can ball out and we can be in the playoff hunt.

Wuss? It’s a broken bone.

Never understood this nonsense. Bashing people who are 100x the athlete he will ever be, a guy who from what I’ve seen is fearless over the middle, because he didn’t work out?

It’s not his fault the Titans took him so high. He didn’t make that decision

He is fragile. Never played a season. Over rated . Is what it is.

Everyone and their mother knew it was a bad/ridiculous trade from the get go. Just watch the reaction of the analyst breaking the news on draft day.

Sorry, everyone but Jon Robinson (...who I guess was trying to go for something along the lines of the Belichik-era-Patriots management route? "A wide receiver wants more money? Get rid of him and bring the next guy up"?...which is a system that can work when you have, I don't know, something like a superstar QB already on your roster... especially a once-in-a-generational-one?)

(Plus a better metric for making fun of it on the internet - rather than just lazily throwing the "Titans' record bad over the last 3 years lol" up there - would have been to use the actual number of games he played and his stats...like, list all the stats they already did about AJ Brown, then list what they actually got out of Treylon Burks: 25 games, less than 700 yards, 1 TD over 3 years)
