I have no idea what we will ultimately do, but after stewing on it the last few days, I'm starting to come around to the idea of keeping Will Levis as the backup QB. He is still cheap, and although he sucks, he is still probably quite a bit better than Brandon Allen. He is also more similar to Ward in play style than I care to admit, which could be an easier transition for the offense if Ward had to miss a game or two.
Factoring in that he's still easily young enough to have potentially improved (especially in a spot duty/backup role), but has sucked just bad enough to where an actual quarterback controversy is very unlikely, I think the upside of keeping him outweighs trading him unless it's something truly unexpected.
