The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

Decent article highlighting some potential trade options.

The one I like the best, and the one I think is most realistic, is the Cowboys trade. It gives us an extra 1st in next years draft that has a lot more talent. And next year's draft will likely being QB heavy in the first round, which should push a few elite non-qbs down the board. It would great to be able to nab Jeremiah Smith.

Maybe I'm an idiot but I just found this online mock draft engine this morning and I've become addicted to it.

PFN Mockdraft

Here are some of the ones l've done. The first several I rejected all trades.

I think this is a good one picked up picks and still a fantastic draft class I think.

I like this one pretty well.

Not a bad idea, just depends on what they get in exchange. If a no-brainer, take it. If not, draft Love or Downs IMO. FA signings changed the game plan in my mind.
The #4 pick is too high to draft a RB or S. If those guys are who they want, then they can trade down, add picks and still get them. Drafting either of them at #4 would be a poor move.

Maybe. There's some thought from a lot of analysts that Love's floor (draft-pick-wise) is around the 7th overall pick (ie, so they're expecting that's likely the furthest his draft stock is capable of falling on draft day).

Pretty much if one's trading down from #4, the team's saying that the extra picks are worth a lot more and that they're completely fine with passing on Love (...if not just entirely uninterested in him or that position in this draft to begin with).

I’ve seen Love projected as low as 10-13. Personally, I don’t think he’s worth a 10-13 pick. #4 is WAY too high IMO.

Care to share some of those? I was referencing from major sportswriters/analysts, but I’d love to see those ones as well.

If a trade down is available, then sure. But if we are sticking at 4, there is plenty of logic in taking Love or Downs, who are both ELITE talents at their position. Not just in this draft, but among recent drafts as well.

This draft class doesn't have the typical elite talent at value positions we've seen in recent drafts. Downs, Love, and Reese are easily the 3 best players in this draft, and it isn't particularly close, imo. I like Bain and Bailey, but neither guy is going in the top 6 in last 2 drafts. Maybe not even top 9 in last year's draft and definitely not top 10 in 2024, which was a LOADED class. Taking either one of them wouldn't be a terrible move given the need and overall weak class all around, but they certainly aren't your typical elite Edge rusher prospects.

At WR, Tate might not even be top 25 in last year's draft, since he definitely isn't a better WR prospect than Egbuka, who was drafted at 19. Tyson is the best WR in the class but has injury concerns. Lemon isn't a 1st round caliber WR, imo.

I keep seeing some of you say you can't take Love at #4 because you don't take Running backs at #4.

Most of the time I'd agree but Love is the best overall player in the draft. You have to get Cam Ward some playmakers and Love can give you ability in the passing game that most RBs don't. I loved Henry but Love gives you an ability this team hasn't seen since Chris Johnson.

Take Love at #4, and get your Edge at #35 with Lawrence, Young or Thomas.

Agreed. This is a weak draft. Titans need to take BPA at 4.

One National analyst when projecting the final big name FA has Joey Bosa to the Titans.

If he’s willing to come down on his price, I’d be fine with it. He’s a fair bit washed, but still should be good enough to rack up a few sacks. But at his current asking price we need to steer clear imo

What else are we going to spend it on?
