soooo.....in 2017 worst case scenerio we have picks #1 & #2, best case picks #31 &#32. I'll take that.

And the first round of next year's draft is going to be quite stacked, so even if the Rams and Titans exceed expectations, it's not like we'll be losing out on a ton of can't miss players.

If you look at the the top 76 draft picks in the NFL and then consider Titans will have 6 of them.. That should be great influx of young talent on our roster.

The entire AFC South just crapped its pants. I really don't get this trade for the Rams. Even if they get a legitimate franchise QB, it won't be worth it unless he's a Brady or a Rodgers.

Yeah this is a head scratcher on the Rams part. There's really no clear cut #1 QB. Are your fans really going to get excited about Goff or Wentz? Oh let's be honest, the Rams haven't really cared about their fans for awhile now. And what a steal for the Titans. Things are looking up in Nashville. Now they just need to lure Megatron out of retirement....

Love this. Grab the best available OT or CB available first (Conklin, Alexander) then get the best available at the other position at 33. Grab a safety and the best WR that falls at 43 and 45. Sure up the interior Oline and LBer position in the third. Something like that would fill all your holes. Then having 2 firsts, a second, and 2 thirds next year will really lift this team up. The Titans are finally digging themselves out of a hole. Really like Robinson so far now lets see if he can evaluate talent.

They should trade a couple of their 2nd rounders to move up for Stanley, they'll have officially nailed this trade. Well done, Titans front office.

I don't think they're really that desperate for a left tackle. I definitely wouldn't use more than one second-rounder to move up

I wouldn't use any. Staley isn't much better(if at all) than Decker or Conklin. Plus Spriggs might be available in the second.

With that trade Jon Robinson got the Eagles to give us DeMarco Murray for free! :eek:lol:

Unless they trade one of those 1st rd picks and move back up the Titans could end up with the #1 again next year as the Rams are not going to be very good and potentially they will have two Top 6-10 picks (I'm not expecting a miracle this season)

Next years draft is probably going to be one of the most deep and talented in years.

I think the Titans look for the franchise running back of the future next year you potentially have in the draft Fournette, Cook, Chubb, Perine, McCaffrey, Gallman, Michel, Freeman & Jalen Hurd all with 1st or 2nd Rd projections!

I think people here are underselling the Rams. They have a top-3 RB and a ton of talent on defense. I'd be surprised if they're in the top 10, especially since their QB play has to be better than it's been.

I'm not expecting a great season this year, but I am hoping for improvement. I'm hoping for 8-8 or better. I think the Rams will be in that range too. That would still be two very good picks next year. That class looks to be very good.

I'm not going to know what to do with myself if/when the Vols and Titans are both good again.

So many years where it felt like I was watching the same team on Saturdays and Sundays.

I have thought about this trade all day and it still comes out the same - awesome! If they are so inclined there are 4 legitimate first round OT's and at least 2 others that are legitimate second rounders. One of those will be a Titan. So now there will be three quality OT's to work with - Lewan, Bell and the pick. That gives them great flexibility on when to pick OT and when to pick CB subject to the quality available. Plenty of high picks left to grab a quality TE and DT with upside.

That being said I am also stoked over the opportunity that awaits in 2017. The year for stud RB's and there they are with 2 first round picks. So much flexibility.

Robinson is the man.

The majority of mock drafts now have them taking Conklin with a couple saying Stanley. They seem sold on Lewan at LT since they are going with a run oriented offense. Will see how that works out.

Based on Robinson's comments he may not be done trading picks.

Been a great off season for the Titans so far. It really sucks that no matter how good this draft actually is, Mike Mularkey is still going to be the the head coach at the end of it.
