We've had very few decent picks over the last 15 years in the 1st round.

2013 Chance Warmack

2012 Kendal Wright

2011 Jake Locker

2010 Derrick Morgan

2009 Kenny Britt

2008 Chris Johnson

2007 Michael Griffin

2006 Vince

2005 PacMan

2004 no pick

2003 Andre Woolfolk

2002 Albert Haynesworth

2001 no pick

Yep, very few and that's being generous

Britt is probably the biggest waste of talent in the NFL. He could've been a top 5 Wr.

Had a promising first couple of years too. I believe he even made a pro bowl in '08.

Yep. Both Griffin and CJ made it in 2008, then in '09 CJ had his 2K, Britt had 225 in a game, and I think VY had his near-400 against Arizona. Our first round picks were looking good, and then all 4 went straight down the drain.

I remember that. Britt going ham against Philly, he also had 2 or 3 touchdowns in that game if I remember correctly. Looked like a monster in the making. The last few weeks of '10 and the first few weeks of '11 with Hasselbeck had me thinking he was going to be one of the best receivers in the game. Then he hurt his knee and never really bounced back (I distinctly remember it being around the same time Justin Hunter tore his ACL against UF and thinking the state of TN was just cursed at the WR position lol).

But yeah, terrible drafting is the biggest reason the Titans are where they are right now, and that string of bad picks in the late 2000's is where it all began. They appear to have struck gold with Mariota, but I'm honestly not sure the organization will ever have him in a position to maximize his potential.

Completely agree with all of the above. And those injuries happened on literally back-to-back days in the same weekend. That was the worst, haha

Amy released a 10 minute video explaining her Mularkey/Robinson decisions per KNS today. She bought into Mularkey's plans and wanted him to have opportunity to make the changes he could not make mid-season. Her take on Robinson made sense. Good experience with taking the right players with the Pats and Bucs, which helped Winston stay healthy enough to play every game. She made it clear that the plan is to surround MM with a quality O-line to keep him upright and healthy. So c'mon down, Tunsil, unless they trade down for more picks.

That was a Titan produced video that they sent to season ticket holders. While I didn't want Mularky as the HC, I have no problems with her other decisions.

Griffen released and Erc berry is a free agent this year isn't he. I wonder if they will try to make a move on him

I don't see them spending that kinda money, but it would be amazing. Let him be our version of Troy P for the steelers

I wonder if Atlanta has the cap room?

Not sure. I was thinking we were 20+ million under the cap. And probably freed up another 6-8 mil by releasing Griffin. We need to spend some $$ to beef up the secondary. I didn't get to watch all the games last year but it seemed like a big weak spot to me

And you actually think KC is going to let him go in the first place?

If his negotiations fail, he'll be franchise-tagged faster than you can say Kansas City Chiefs.
